The Desi Geestman Foundation, a non-profit with 501(c)3 tax-exempt status, is a volunteer organization

headquartered in La Crescenta. Under the direction of the board, over 100 volunteers serve the emotional and financial needs of patients receiving treatment for childhood cancers. The foundation receives referrals from social workers at City of Hope and other Children's Hospitals for the following services:  lodging, transportation, medications not covered by insurance, nutritional needs, and wishes for these very special children.
